1. 1960s
   Baaboud Trading & Shipping Agencies is founded BTSA starts as a general trading company and ship agent, with its head office in Jeddah and branches in Sudan.

   A fleet of our own The shipping division operates seven vessels - passenger ferries, Ro-Ro cargo ships and small container vessels - trading in the Red Sea and along the East African coast.
3. [year]
   Marine Equipment & Services Co. is born MES starts as a branch of BTSA, focused on marine equipment, spare parts and services for ships calling at Jeddah.
4. 1998
   ISO certification Our quality management system is certified - a commitment we have kept ever since.
5. [year]
   Class-approved safety station Baaboud for Safety Equipment opens one of the largest life-raft and fire-extinguisher service stations in the region, approved by Lloyd's Register, ClassNK, BV and RINA.
6. [year]
   Dammam branch opens Serving vessels and port operators on the Arabian Gulf coast.
7. Today
   Five divisions, one of the largest marine stores in the region Supplies, charts and publications, safety and lifeboat services, Navcom electrical and electronics, and turnkey marine projects.
